ShiftSee has a real brand now

New logo, new palette, and a coherent visual identity that actually matches the product we're building.

  • design

For a long time the ShiftSee palette was a placeholder. A desaturated lime that sometimes leaned yellow-green, alongside ad-hoc grays. It rendered fine but never felt like a product anyone owned.

Today that changed.

The colors

Emerald (#064E3B) is the primary brand color now. It's the color of every primary action across the app, from the Sign In button to Save Changes to the active tab indicator. Deep, considered, confident. It signals stability and trust, which is what the product is supposed to feel like when you delegate a piece of your livelihood to it.

Amber (#F59E0B) is the accent. We use it sparingly, only for the moments where action matters most. The Broadcast Shift button is amber because broadcasting is the action you take when something is urgent. The "You" pill on your own default business is amber because it's an identity marker. Inline highlights and active states pick up the same color.

Together, Emerald and Amber show up everywhere from the top nav to the email templates to the favicon.

What it means for you

If you logged into ShiftSee yesterday and again today, the difference is subtle but cumulative. Auth screens, dashboards, the schedule modal, every form, the marketing pages, all share a coherent palette now. The brand mark is consistent everywhere. The whole product feels like it was made on purpose.

What's still old

A handful of legacy widgets still ship hard-coded greens or yellows from the old palette. We're converting those as we touch them. If you spot one looking out of place, tell us.
