Three ways to find a shifter for a specific role.
1. Top-bar search
Tap the search bar in the top header. Type the role: "bartender", "line cook", "server". Results show shifters who list that role on their profile, ranked by how strong your connection is to them (direct connection > worked-together > public).
2. Connected Shifters with role filter
Open Connected Shifters in your business dashboard. The filter row at the top lets you filter by role. Useful when you want to send a targeted shift to a specific connected person who matches.
3. Browse Shifters directory
For shifters you're not yet connected to: Browse Shifters in the top header. The directory has a role filter and shows everyone who's marked themselves available for that role across the platform. Send a connection request to someone interesting.
Tips
- Be specific in role tags. "Bartender" and "cocktail bartender" are different. The more specific your filter, the more relevant the results.
- Cross-reference with the shifter's reliability score and review count before you send a critical shift.
- Don't be afraid to message them first ("hey, looking at your profile, would you be interested in this kind of work?"). Conversation often outperforms a cold shift request.
