Your public profile is what unconnected users see when they look you up.
Shifter profile (/s/<your-slug>)
Public:
- Display name
- Photo
- About text
- Preferred roles
- Availability (days you can work, but not specific hours)
- Location (city / state / country, never street address)
- Aggregated stats (number of shifts completed, average rating)
Not public:
- Phone number (visible only to connected businesses)
- Email (visible only to connected businesses)
- Hourly rate preferences
- Earnings or payout history
- Specific shift schedules
Business profile (/b/<your-slug>)
Public:
- Business name and logo
- Business title and description
- Address (for the map directory)
- Public phone (you choose; can hide)
- Roles you hire for
- Connected crew (the Crew tab)
- Aggregate ratings and reviews
Not public:
- Payment methods
- Internal teammate roles
- Per-business pricing or commercial terms
- Connection list (only visible to the connected counterparts)
Hiding entirely
Go to Settings → Hide from public directory to remove yourself from search and the public listing. Existing connections still work; new ones won't find you organically. Use this if you only want to work with people you already know.
