Setting up Stripe Connect for shifter payouts

Step-by-step guide to verifying your identity and linking a bank or debit card so you can be paid.

ShiftSee uses Stripe Connect to pay shifters. Before your first shift, set this up.

Step by step

Go to your shifter Payments tab.
Click Set up payouts. We'll redirect you to Stripe's hosted onboarding.
Confirm your email. Stripe sends a verification code; enter it.
Provide your legal name, date of birth, and address.
Add a SSN/SIN/tax ID (depending on country). Stripe needs this for tax reporting; ShiftSee doesn't see it.
Link a payout method: bank account or debit card. Bank is faster long-term; debit card is faster for first payout.
Stripe verifies. Most accounts go green within minutes; some require additional ID verification (a passport or driver's license photo).

Mismatched name or DOB: re-check what you entered against your government ID.
Address can't be verified: use the address on your most recent utility bill or bank statement.
Persistent failure: reach out via the AI helper → Talk to a human. We can't see your tax ID or SSN, but we can help with the parts of the flow that aren't sensitive.

You'll see a green Payouts ready badge on your Payments tab. After your first shift, the payout will fire automatically.
