Updating your bank account or debit card

You can update your payout method any time from Payments → Stripe Dashboard.

To change banks

1. Open Payments → Stripe Dashboard.
2. Under Payout method, click Add new or Edit existing.
3. Enter your new bank details. Stripe verifies them with a couple of test deposits or instant verification (region-dependent).
4. Set the new account as default.

In-flight payouts

Payouts already in transit go to the previous account. If your old account is closed, the transfer fails and Stripe automatically retries with the new account. Allow 3-5 extra business days in this case.

Closing one account before opening the other

We strongly recommend the opposite order: add the new account first, set it as default, then close the old one. Otherwise pending transfers can fail, get returned to ShiftSee, and need a manual reissue.
